OK Lumber Established in 1945
Founded in 1945 after Emilia Arends (see image) sold her house to start O.K. Lumber Company, O.K. Lumber continues through four generations of family. Currently owned by Bob and Wally Arends, the company has thrived through the years. The family takes pride in having the highest quality materials and providing clients with premium service. Harry Mason who started in 1970, began by cleaning up trash around the yard, then became a truck driver. Eventually he became a General Manager in 1980 helping grow the Company into what it is today. The Company is located on three acres of land which allows customers to drive around and load their materials, with the assistance of a yard clerk. Our large operation allows us to have a very large inventory and stock hard to find items that would not find at a big box store. Located in the heart of San Carlos, we are located close to 101 for easy access. Bob and Wally Arends want to make sure that everyone from the General Contractor to the Do-It-Yourselfer feels comfortable coming in and asking for help. Our large experienced staff is very familiar with building materials and most of our employees have been with us for decades.
